◆ Event introduction text

Since March 2007, "Hirakata-shuku Kurawanka Goroku-ichi" has been held under the eaves of townhouses along the highway and in vacant lots. The name contains the desire to revive the bustle of Hirakata-juku, which was once the 56th post town on the Tokaido. At the beginning of the event, there were about 50 stalls, but now about 200 stalls gather every month through open recruitment (more than 1,000 stall registrations), and handmade miscellaneous goods and accessories, as well as unique Kodawari products are lined up. Participatory events that men and women of all ages can enjoy are also held, and visitors are entertained every month. In addition, it was reported on numerous occasions by the media, and each time, the name recognition of "Kurawanka Goroku City" improved. For this reason, in June 2015, we established the General Incorporated Association Hirakata-shuku Kurawanka Goroku-ichi for the purpose of continuing activities to revitalize the Hirakata-shuku area.
